How much you wanna bet one of those jobs is annoying the ever living frick out of friends and family on social media by selling some MLM shite like Rodan and Fields or Young Living? eta: saying “hubs” is so cringe worthy imo

Sorry about the hubs thing, NOPE I hate MLM's too. I have a job in sales and Customer Service and I run a cleaning service as well-- and I annoy no one on social media to make money.

Yes, he has a new job. It starts on the 25th, but the pay is less than his previous jobs-- Which is why I would like to leave Louisiana.

I missed that.

So now what advice could you offer her?

No kidding. You also missed my advice already stated in this thread.

OP needs to develop a long-term, proactive plan with her husband. This probably entails job training or further education for one or both of them.

False.

That job doesn't sound like it pays well anywhere.
Sounds like your husband doesn't have a career.

daughter wants to go there too

What does that have to do with where you and your husband live?

Ladies get your paper too, don’t expect for no man to support you. Mrs. Allen is independent making money by the caseloads.

I was about to ask this, too.

How old are y’all? Got a good bit in retirement?

You don’t need to make a lot of money if you don’t have a lot of bills.

I’m sorry...I don’t read your post.

Actually good advice but it sounds as if Hubs is in his early to mid 40’s not untrainable but definitely harder to start over in a new industry at that age.
