Good agreement in the models that a CCKW reaching the Atlantic basin late next will induce a CAG that could result in TC genesis in the ePac and the GOM. According to research by @pppapin , there's never been an August CAG. Is that still true?

Could someone interpret this for me?

RI can occur anywhere given the right conditions.

Brother in law is getting married on Long island next Friday. We're supposed to fly in on the 23rd to LaGuardia. New York seems as prepared for a hurricane as Texas was for a blizzard. What are the chances next week goes to shite?

Zeta was an RI.

Michael was Florida but it was an RI in the northern Gulf.

Since this is affecting the media's beloved NE sector of the US, it will be overblown with coverage.
A patio table on a beach house in Long Island could fall over and they'll discuss the perils of that for days on the national news

These climate change nuts better practice what they preach when the power goes out and it starts getting hot. I don’t want to see any government buildings or libs houses being powered with regular gas or Kohler natural gas generators.

Looks like Henri is going to pass right over me. Lol. I thought I didn’t have to deal with this crap anymore. Oh well, beer and booze is stocked, gumbo in the freezer, and generator is ready to go.

We had a storm come through last summer that knocked out power up here for a week.
