No, because I've never posted a model run. I hope it does and we can concentrate on the game, but if the GFS shows a hurricane for 3 days in a row, more than likely there will be a hurricane.

The question is where will it hit and strength of it. That's where the Euro comes in and the models eventually start to agree on those things.

20% of all recorded Cat 5s in the Atlantic have happened in August.

Erin is down to 917mb 160 mph winds insane what she’s done in 24 hours. Models have been so far behind on strength

Time for her (do we know her proper pronouns yet?) to stop being stubborn and head North to the artic.

She’s a pretty compact storm. Hurricane force winds only extend out around 30 miles from the center.

They are rare regardless of the month. 8 in August, 25 in September, 7 in October. Follows the pattern of Hurricanes of all intensities,

ICON may win out against the others as it had Erin the closet skirting just off the NC coast.

The center is just visible in the San Juan, Puerto Rico radar.

Essentially a 30-mile wide tornado ploughing over an open jacuzzi. Awesome

It was the only model showing sub 920 mbs. As far as strength it’s the only model that had a grip on the strength
