Damn look at that gray appearing on the IR in the past hour or so. Does this thing hit 190mph+?
Storm2k thinks NHC should have gone 190 on this last update.. I'm not sure why though..
One of the drops had 216 mph 300 feet above sea level

Pssst... this might be stronger tomorrow over the loop current in the right entrance of a trough.
I’ve always wondered how strong could a hurricane get in perfect conditions with unlimited time? Surely there’s a max where it can’t sustain itself

And some dipshit downvotes me thinking I'm joking.
After Debby in August:

Earlier this month, more than 100 pounds of cocaine worth $1 million washed up on a beach in the Florida Keys in the aftermath of Hurricane Debby. The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) in Miami reported that the storm blew ashore 25 packages of cocaine totaling up to 70 pounds onto a beach in the Florida Keys.

One of the aircraft reported extreme turbulence and large hail when punching the eye wall

And I think that if it is headed toward an EWRC tonight that it should be primed for it tomorrow.
Won’t a completed EWRC and further strengthening cause the size of the storm to increase and enable it to better fight off shear/dry air?

How hot is the water? Thats what limits it in perfect conditions.

That is my understanding, but I'm just an amateur.
I do think an EWRC now would be really bad for Florida.. because once it hits the LC.. we could be off to the races again
Eye is still getting smaller.. I don't think we have seen the peak yet.

I don't think it would take too much arm twisting for me to fly along with them. I don't think I'd start by diving into a record setting Cat. 5, though.
