Up to 10-15 feet now for Tampa Bay and nearby. Not good.

Near constant lightning in the eyewall right now. If that is still ongoing when the new plane gets there it could make for some unreal video.

I don't understand why they can't keep a drone inside the storm at all times..

Huh?
If its south, the approaching winds would be south to North and then SE to NW, then E to W, then NW to SE... would push water out of the bay and offshore. Although St Augustine is F'd.
You want it South, not North... If it goes in North of Tampa the water will be pushed from the Gulf into the bay.
