So am I man, so am I. It's been since 11am that this started nearby. I usually don't have anxiety but seeing a tornado warning every 15 minutes on the TV for 8 hours can cause some fits.

I'm glad you dodged them all. I know everyone didn't. I haven't seen any reports of death or serious injury, so that's a plus. Tropical tornadoes suck, well....all tornadoes suck, but it is just whack-a-mole with the tropical tors.

Subtle pool brag.

One time at a conference on Marco Island a few of us with LSU ties rented a house with a screened in pool. We were out there just talking normally around 8 pm when the cops showed up. They said they received a noise complaint with neighbors trying to sleep. Cops were pretty apologetic about it as they knew it was ridiculous.

I was watching the Weather Channel and the woman reporter clearly said that President Kamala Harris has contacted them. I rewound it several times to confirm what she said. I heard it correctly and the closed caption was the same.

Me too. Hoping to get a rain break in about an hour so the dog can take care of business before locking it down for the night.

Yes they had several tornados. Search for Vero Beach tornado on Twitter. Most of the damage is being updated to Twitter or you can google it. Best of luck

They’re definitely starting to abuse and overuse extreme wind warnings like anything else in their warning arsenal. When they came out with them they were supposed to be used in extreme cases, such a Michael or Ian. But now they basically slap one on there any time some broke dick hurricane is making landfall.

Idalia and Helene got extreme wind warnings. Clearwater gusting to 50 mph… extreme wind warning.
