I don't understand people like this. I've owned numerous properties in NW Florida over the past 20 years. Some personal residences and most investment. I expect a storm to happen and carry the appropriate insurance to deal with it. I only have one now and its my personal residence for 51% of the year. I drove there Tuesday to pick up the outdoor furniture and drove back to LA. If it gets wiped out, insurance pays for a new and better one.

Exactly. Unless he has no insurance like BabyTac thinks you should do.

Track shifts a little to the east per each observation. It may end up hitting the coast ~ 30 miles east of Pensacola Beach

got a feeling that the Tide/Bulldogs game in Tuscaloosa is going to be a shitshow.
The game time weather will be ok

But the surrounding area will be 100s of thousands of people and places without power, non navigable streets, and trees down everywhere

Sssshhhhh...the Bama fans will attack you for your intelligence regarding this situation. They are so hoping they can pull this idiocy off, and that the Dawgs decide not to travel. I hope if an incident happens Bama and Sankey get sued into oblivion for allowing this stupidity over a game that could be rescheduled.

If you’re at the game you will be in the middle of it. Driving home will be the least of your worries. May have to take a different route.

Some people have family homes with decades of memories tied up in them or are actually local to the area.

From the NHC discussion...not good for power outages farther inland in Alabama. Tree damage will be significant

We'll see how much wind it carries inland. Its gonna get opened up in a hurry once it loses the over water convection. Of course, the trade is a wider windfield of TS force stuff.
