I have a friend who has a beach house on Navarre. He's stressed out of his mind understandably.

Poor baby.

True.

But I sympathize with him. I'd be stressing out too if I were him.

Your friend didn’t know hurricanes hit Gulf of America coastlines when he bought the place?

Google was 1000 models. Many of which were well east of Panama City and some of which were in Alabama/ Miss. I don’t see how anyone can consider it conclusively better.

I had to go back and look. It was a model before Monday.

Grammatically you should have "the" before "Gulf of America."

Eh, it is kind of annoying that some jackass in central Kentucky can drum up panic for clicks while the meterologists that are actually affected and trying to not cause a panic are drowned out

Except if you look at when it was posted and the comments underneath about fearmongering it as a future cat3, these peeps turned out to be wrong.

This local guy doesn't own the forecast more than others. I get that sometimes people hype it up and nothing happens, but this turned out to be the opposite.

10am advisory is now out. NHC just bumped winds up from 110 mph to 120 mph. In line with prior forecast.
