Though with the wind field expanding due to shear/weakening may not be as important as it was for say Laura

Yea weakening hurricanes expand their wind field like a MFer. Lots of people are gonna get wind damage from this one for sure.

I have a friend who has a beach house on Navarre. He's stressed out of his mind understandably.

Gulf Shores and Orange Beach may “luck out” with this one. They’ll have plenty of wind and rain there, but if they’re on the west side of the eye they should avoid the really bad surge.

The dunes/sea oats along GS/OB/Perdido are the most developed they have been since Ivan
