Florida Power & Light saying 3.4 million will lose power and FEMA is saying 4 to 5 million will lose power per CNN

There's enough shite going on in here - let's not add the LSU game to it.

So when is this thing supposed to miraculously turn 45 degrees to the north?
Check out this water vapor loop. LINK
All that dry air digging in toward her. Hard boundary between her outflow on the west and the dry air coming in. There's not a lot of room for her to go much farther west at this point.
Convection and moisture filling out to her north, another indication she's feeling the pull north.
The slowing forward motion is also pretty typical of a big change in direction setting up.
Oh and

You haven't seen the mate he is with yet. He was doing the Duval Street crawl a few minutes ago.

this thing needs to weaken and then get ashore before it can continue to go west and intensify

Sun's going down.... Y'all hunkering down in Florida get some rest now and stay level-headed and safe when conditions deteriorate. I'm in Dallas and this storm has made me tired all week.
I am kinda proud of myself for being on the right track with this storm (no pun intended). My folks live in Slidell and my 89yr old uncle lives in Tampa (he evacuated to N.Carolina EARLY). I was already having to scrape my mom off the ceiling Monday...
Had a feeling about this aspect as well. Was making sure a good friend knew she had a pet-friendly guest house if needed...

I think the turn just started. She looks more North in the last few frames.
