I love that all the weather genius dickheads in this thread are making fools of themselves. A day ago they would try to laugh you out of the thread for asking if it was getting in the Gulf. And here it is, hitting the West coast of Florida and they're still acting like douche bags

it could still hit on the west side of florida just as likely as it will hit GA or SC
^ i said this on page 266 on Wed AM - i think some of you baws just dont pay attention

Isn't this the path that the Canadian model was projecting days and days ago? Everyone said to disregard it b/c the Canadian model was crap.
Will they still apologize?
Will they still apologize?

There are some petty, unappreciative fricks beginning to show their faces in this thread

Didn't either Euro or GFS have Naples in the cross hairs 3-4 days ago before it shifted back to a right on Miami hit?

has become clear that the majority of folks in this thread don't understand how the NHC cone works. I'm not sure what else to tell you.
I still dont know why you specifically and some others have to be a shite head.
And for the record I wasn't any of the posters talking about it going into the Gulf, just been following the thread.

I mean, we were told several times not to trust anything on a model more than 5 days out, but to bank on a 90 degree turn more than 5 days out

This thread needs rds dc's in depth posts to clarify and eliminate all of this "clutter" we have going on.

Can't trust Canadians with anything except the LSU offense.

It feels like the fricking SECRant found out about this thread.

That 90 degree turn is now less than a day out and still being forecast.

If you've been following the thread you'll understand the frustration.

I asked him who his buddy was. Obvious we have two different buddies. Both happen to be dumbasses.

And now that turn is 24-36 hours out, so...

There are a shite ton of people who seem disappointed they're not getting the storm right up their arse. I'll never understand it.
I get it.
Gulf coast people are used to be "worst case scenarios" when it comes to hurricanes. Things start to go a little crazy once a hurricane gets into the gulf and things start to happen very quickly. Add in Katrina, recent floods & Louisiana native's natural inclination for pessimism ("I always get screwed) it is no surprise they are nervous.
Gulf people just need to take a deep breath and understand that it's not about you... right now.

I think so. We just aren't capable of understanding the forces of nature yet.
We can't even accurately predict some rain showers and people are surprised we can't predict an 800 mile wide funnel of fury?
