Bruh. If you're in Zone A in Pinellas I wouldn't risk it. This things shift any further west they'll start evacuating b and c and good luck getting over the bridges then.

Well I'm not really thrilled to evacuate to Atlanta now. Glad I haven't left yet

If you live 100 yards from the water it looks like you will be 11 feet below sea level for a while. I'm not sure how well you can hold your breath but I'm betting not that long.

Here's the deal... you can stay, you really can. Chances are, your going to die by drowning. The time until you struggle while taking your last breath will be spent hating yourself and wondering why you were so stupid for staying.

Please leave. It's just not worth it.

Pinellas county (St Pete) is out of sand and bags. Hillsbourough (Tampa) was out as of yesterday.

Ultra Pure water company (South Tampa) is letting people go to their plant and buy for $6 a case. Most CVS drug stores have water for $2.50-ish.

Sam's club is only open to members so they have small lines for gas.

Hi Friend
Long time no see

Guess some pertinent information at this juncture would be to say I live in Jacksonville Beach now, which hasn't had a storm in years and as soon as we move here there are two storms in two years.

We will be at One Ocean for the storm, a few miles from our house. My house is a block from the water right by pier, so if it goes, I'm probably gone too.

Hope you aren't in Her way, and everything else is going good in your world.

Yep. And think about it, they said the eye is around 30 miles across with the strongest winds extending roughly 50 miles out from it. So, that's around 130 miles across of total devastation. The total length across Florida in that area, St.Pete to the east coast is around 150 miles. Not good

Great PR move by Carnival......

Are you still with the girl you had posted pictures of a while back? You need to at least get her to safety.

So sad. Now it's looks like Jose is taking a similar path. Those islands can't take another hit let alone one just days later.

Did he even say that he was home? I thought he just said that's where his house is..

RT is smart enough to heed the warnings and leave, right?

Just saw on TWC that the wind is down to 150mph. Do y'all think it will continue to decline before landfall or intensify?

It may be time for a Jose thread. I know the focus is on Irma and rightfully so but those islands are about to get crushed again and there is little shelter for people to take now.

Levi said the EWR is causing a larger wind field, but the max sustained win usually goes down. That said once they EWR is done there is some chance for intensification.
