The weather channel gets hate but it's awesome having Bryan Norcross on the weather channel because he absolutely knows his shite and he's the perfect person to have for a storm bearing down on Miami. He rose to fame during his local coverage of Hurricane Andrew.

I turned on TWC for the first time in years yesterday. I can't believe Mike Seidel is still there.

Still a lot of wiggle room for Miami. The 12z Euro EPS mean and Control were west of the op run. The 18z GEFS still showing an unusual amount of spread for this range.

Just got word that the Bitter End Yacht Club in Virgin Gorda is completely gone

I posted earlier today that Little Dix on Virgin Gorda was nearing completion of a major renovation. They've been closed for over a year. I imagine they're going to have to start over as well.

One of the funniest things I've ever seen on all of TV was bsck in 1992 listening to Mike Seidel giving out hurricane warning information in Spanish. You can tell his one year of high school Spanish just wasn't good enough.

I have been watching TWC tonight as well. I will though tell you where I have a issue with what I have saw there

They keep showing that Publix in south Florida where the shelves are empty of bottled water. But just before that, there are full shelves of Hostess Ding Dongs. Who the frick would leave those things on the shelf in this type of emergency?

So the white part got destroyed while the blue part is untouched?

If I ever buy beachfront property I'm painting it blue aquamarine. It seems to be quite resilient
