Where is it headed after Miami? Up to Jax or whipping it around and to Tampa bay.

You know what I mean. But this euro puts Miami right in the path of the strongest winds

Miami needs to wait for the keys and others south to evacuate first. There's a reason they do this in stages. The keys residents are evacuating starting tonight, visitors started this morning

Totally understand GEAUXmedic but imo they are 24hr behind.

Yea and it was bad, but it wasn't "leveled" or "wiped off the face of the earth" like people were saying.

That shed video was fascinating. Best find on the O/T in awhile. (Aside from Babe threads anyway).

Can't know for sure yet, but most models are looking at it going up Atlantic Coast.

It's not THAT low. Heard several times that it was completely evacuated.

Their High Commissioner says they haven't made contact with Barbuda, but I guess they have some officials on scene

quote:

She said: "We have not been able to make any contact with Barbuda since about midnight UK time. "The last report we had from our sister island was the police station was destroyed, the roof came off completely. Houses all around Codrington, the main settlement on Barbuda, have lost their roofs. "We have no reports of fatalities or injuries but we do to know how things are on the island as we speak."

I guess your definition of leveled is a bit different than mine.

The airport is currently unusable.

You may have a different interpretation of "level" than those that live there. Plus we don't know the extent of the damage to most of the islands the hurricane has/will hit. I do know that a lot of places I know and love may never be the same. I'm wondering what the fate of the Willie T is on Norman Island.

My definition of "leveled" is gone, done, nothing but a foundation if even that. That's the real, actual definition. Most structures seemed intact and solid. That's not "leveled". This is called hyperbole.

I spent about four hours the night Harvey and blue shed happened.
