Looking at the satellite imagery, it looks like in the last frame or two that it starts to take a slight turn to the northwest. Could just be a wobble, but maybe it'll end up being the move that spares Puerto Rico.

Can someone provide an update? Still headed right up the peninsula of Florida and into Ga/SC? What did the Euro spit out last night?

Love Maho and St. Maarten as a whole - what a great spot

Really worried about a lot of the people down there, especially the locals

In the panhandle here, slight nip in the air this morning, supposed to be in the 60's tomorrow morning. Is this the cold front that's supposed to be pushing Irma east?

Miami is tricky

You are stuck in between a situation like Matthew or Armageddon.

City of Miami officials have sent out an urgent warning ahead of Hurricane Irma to residents living near construction sites.

The city claims there are 20-25 construction cranes in the area right now that can only withstand Category 4 storm winds up to 145 mph.

With regard to Barbuda, preliminary reports indicate damage to rooves and to some buildings, but I have had no report of any fatalities. Barbuda too benefitted from a high level of readiness, responsive to the urgings of the government and from the preparations that were made in advance, including the shelter constructed for that purpose.

No deaths in Barbuda

Euro was east, more in line with the GFS, but there is still a lot of uncertainty.
