TWC tried to provide a service. Which I get. But they try to be TOO frantic and it sends people in panic mode when it’s not really time to do so.

This is similar to the guy that insisted the NHC inflates strength numbers until a storm gets close enough for them to be proven wrong. He said every storm seems to weaken as it comes onshore as if that is proof.
Do you all have some cave where you meet to discuss these idiotic talking points?

The same people who think meteorologists are the people screaming about climate change. They don't understand that meteorologists focus on forecasting weather systems in the relative short-term, not on the state of the climate years from now. People who focus on long-term climate are climatologists. Most meteorologists that I see don't really engage in much discussion about climate change.
