My proposal was because it was going to Mexico. Just so it doesn't try to cross our border.



There have been plenty of people named Fernando that have crossed the US and Mexican border. I am willing to bet so that there have been a lot of people named Fredo come to New Orleans. So that is a big fat no to both of those.

Damn right we did. It would have been catastrophic if it hit us.

It’s still going to tear our beaches up pretty bad but, that’s nothing compared to what it could have been.

Not completely, as the large wind field will bring a little surge and some TS force winds. A direct hit looks extremely extremely unlikely.

The Carolinas are in for a close call.

Was supposed to start getting bad here this afternoon. So far nothing. Just periodic showers but hardly any real wind. We will see.
