I am not saying it was any kind of conspiracy. I am just saying what happened. Just the facts Ma'am.

On a side note, is anybody drinking every time they say hunker down, or elongated?

Officials in the Bahamas say they are getting “reports of bodies being seen” Monday as slow-moving Hurricane Dorian continues to wreak havoc on the island nation, forcing first responders and residents to take cover amidst sustained wind gusts of 150 mph.

Imagine when the storm clears and what’s left is land with no infrastructure. Power is gone, food is scarce, no clean water, A/C out in 90+ temps, rooftops blown off, houses flooded, cars destroyed, people killed.... and in the end they’re stuck on an island with no way out. It’s going to take an international effort to save some of the ones who made it through. Hell on earth.

Insane video I just saw on Twitter. I would be so scared to be in the middle of all of that.

It was 7 hours ago so it might have already been posted.

It's a poor country. They don't have the money to fly out.

Well, if Katrina is any example, any discussion about whether to rebuild this jewel will immediately be deemed racist.

That’s on Facebook. Hadn’t seen it yet. Incredible. That house is badass. Amazing those utility poles are still up.

Apparently it's difficult for some of you to understand, but not everyone has the money and resources to just fly out.

Not really. I mean most of the people there don't have all that much money and the areas nearest them probably are not willing to take them in.

I'm guessing there was some of all of that. Some of the islands are really isolated though. It's just a tough place to manage in a situation like this.

Bingo

I feel awful for the natives... Couldn't care less about the people that chose to move there.

The guy in the video seems to have the means to fly out if he wanted. But many in the Caribbean are dirt arse poor and have never left their island before.
