I skipped over this earlier, but frick this mess. It's one thing to live around stoners, do you really want some a-hole tripping balls in the front yard licking your doorbell
There's as much of a chance of this happening as a drunk stumbling around your front yard.

all of agriculture is regulated. that's a stupid argument.
wtf are you talking about? you get a visit from the gov't when you're planting your greens, squash, and tomatoes?

Will be interesting to see who wins the Lobby Wars between the alcohol producers and the tobacco companies wanting to move to marijuana production.

You obviously have never done or been around anyone on shrooms.

So if I go to Colorado and am flying back to Texas, does TSA grab my stash? What if I’m flying to another marijuana-legal state?
Curious how that is handled at airports.

Federal crime regardless of what states you are flying to or from.
You won't get it taken away. You'll get arrested.

If you don’t think Phillip-Morris and their massive land holdings aren’t already ahead of this, you are not very bright. They have already said they are scaling back on the cigarette industry. I wonder what they are doing with all their tobacco fields?? Especially considering NC is in the process of legalizing it....
More and more people are buying local. With the great local beer scene there are those people going to buy from a corporation or a local grower?
There's also something to be said for regulating growth. Oregon is the wild wild west with too much pot. Washington isn't there yet and their prices are higher.
You think NC will allow fields and fields of the stuff, not that North Carolina is a great place to grow outdoors, and bring the prices down immediately?
No, they'll want to maintain the value keeping their tax dollars higher.

Did a little more research on this. Looks like in marijuana-legal states they’ll usually just ask you to throw it away, give it away, or put it in your car.
Unless it’s a suitcase of weed or they deem intent to distribute

From what I've read the local police will let you fly but they will have alerted your local police to greet you when you get off your flight. I doubt you get to keep your stash.
Depending upon your state will depend on how much they throw the book at you.
Btw....TSA doesn't go out of their way to find drugs, they say anyway.

This is true but you asked about going to Texas, which isn't a legal state. Eta....missed where you mentioned a legal state.

This is true. TSA and their dogs aren't there for average Joe and his couple of grams of weed. They're there for weapons and explosives.

Even in legal states it is still technically a Federal Crime to fly with it.

bout fricking time. Legal weed will raise tax revenue, decrease the number of people going to jail for stupid shite, hurt the mexican cartels bottom line.
The only issue is testing for being under the influence for DUIs. A blood test will detect THC even if the person hasn't smoked that day isn't impaired. A test needs to be developed that can distinguish how recently it's been consumed.

Just in time for legal hemp.
Imagine the winds carrying all the male pollen sweeping across a corporations fields of pot.

But think of the children
The rate of kids smoking pot in states that legalized it has gone down. If it's legal it's easier to get legally but it's harder to get illegally, just like alcohol.

Not technically, it is but they aren't messing around with people carrying personal stash. If I'm ever caught flying out with my vape pen I'm not too worried about any issues.

There is absolutely no reason why any drug, ESPECIALLY, weed, cocaine, and Shrooms, should be illegal.

Probably more now. That story was months ago.

I'm finally starting to see some relief out my way. I typically buy ounces at a place called Nectar in Portland.
Still see plenty of expensive top shelf stuff in both states. Ready for more price drops.
