24k is what I spent on meals and entertainment in 2016 per my annual summary. It's not that hard to do, one nice dinner a week with your wife is $200+

Hilarious, I'm fairly sure the guy saying he pays his $11K a moth CC bill off in cash every month also was in the other thread telling us he buys a new vehicle every other year and pays cash for that as well.

Let's break this down as it really isn't that hard. By the way this is the card for the family, not just me. One nice meal a week probably runs at least $150. That is for 3-4 people and includes wine. That leaves $250 a week so take 10 lunches and likely dinner one other time and yeah... it doesn't sound out of control. However what is out of control is the number of times we have eaten food. 740 distinct charges this year at restaurants (inclusive of bars too). That honest to God is pretty stupid in my opinion. But it is what it is.
