We tried that before the Civil War when the ACS settled Liberia with freed slaves. Most did not want to go there due to violence with the indigenous population.

I don't know how good farming would have been in the 1800's, but I know we'd be a lot better off in 2017.

With no slavery, there would have never been a United States, it would have been split confederacies. Washington and Jefferson would have never been president. Britain most likely wins the was of 1812 if it doesn't happen sooner. There are no funds for the Louisiana purchase. France and Spain both have opportunity to expand in the us. Black population would look much smaller and the US would resemble Europe more than the US.

In other words, totally fricked.

Nope. I meant what I said.

You can only quantify known subjects. We don't know exactly how many people have/would request reparations.
