I know a few people who post on here that are in your situation—you need to sign up driving Uber so you can recoup.

Send her a link to this thread. Then she'll also know your handle and can search your post history. Might as well get it all out there.

little healthy marriage tip for ya on this one: stick to your lie no matter what, even if it means creating a whole new platform of even more contrived and complicated lies to hold up the first one

Go to the casino, pick red or black and double down until you're back to even.

My first boss ever knew some of my friends parents and when they could come in to talk to me and I would tell him who they are who would tell me stories about their parents.

One of my friends came in and my boss was like "that has to be such and such son", which it was. He was saying he was a spitting image of his dad (who had actually passed away), his personality, mannerisms, etc..

Anyway, this was I guess late 70s, early 80s.. But he told me my friend's daddy, after work on Friday went to the bar and there was a card game going on. He cashed his check at the bar (he got paid that day) and ended up losing it all in the card game..

On the way home he was trying to think about what he would tell his wife.. Then all of a sudden tossed his wallet out of the window. Went home and told his wife he lost his wallet and he thought someone stole it.

Any way you can pull something like that off?

20% of monthly income. I wouldn’t say anything and just pay it off.
And stop gambling
