Hard to believe with all the snow on the ground, but summer will be here before you know it.

Piranhas and quicksand were two of 8 year-old me’s biggest fears.

Turns out I should have been worried about LBJ.

I prefer to use Jack's Method from The Toy.

The same steps could be done and just retitled

“How to get eaten by a Caiman.”

"#4 Move as quickly and quietly through the water..."

If I'm moving quickly through piranha invested water, it isn't going to be very quiet. I might even scare the hell out of them.

Im not sure if my childhood fear of quick sand or piranhas were worse but I feel as if both might have blown a little out of proportion

That boat wouldn't float in today's PC climate.

I had a fear of the man eating plants seen in Tarzan movies. (think it was tarzan). Them suckers would grab you and you be gone.

I’m sure they were a feature of the old Tarzan comic books. Scared the crappe out of little me.

Much like piranha-infested waters being much rarer than I thought while growing up attending movies, I have encountered much less quicksand than I had expected.

Pirhanas in areas where they’re well fed aren’t a problem. At the NOLA aquarium they’re fed regularly and they’re actually shy.

If you find some in a pond that’s been isolated and they’ve been without food, they’ll be interested in you.
