This is what’s scary. I feel 75k was a nice middle class salary not too long ago. Enough to own a home a car etc. now it’s like closer to poverty than what I described
Yep. 75k isn’t shite today..let’s be real.
Hell making 100k isn’t shite

Seems that way. You feel you’ve made it, then our current adm screws it all up.

It can be pretty good in middle America, if you aren't financially illiterate.

I make less than that picture because my area is considered second tier (first is California Bay Area). You can tell it’s me because of my post right above it
My wife is a specialist doctor so won’t post here since it’s easier to find

It depends on where you live. It's a good living in most of the South, especially if you have spouse that works as well.

I was making about that in 1999 and I couldn't have bought a house in a good part of Dallas back then. I know because I was looking and had about given up when I met someone who owned and lived in a duplex and that inspired me to buy a 4plex and let tenants pay my mortgage. And actually, many people back then would say where I bought was a little sketchy.

Novel idea, if you can’t afford it, don’t live in Dallas. Nobody is privileged to live wherever the hell they want.
Dallas still needs secretaries, garbage men, plumbers, dental hygienists, cubicle slaves, road workers, roofers, retail clerks, etc.
This is happening in parts of California. The service and support workers are leaving because they see no light at the end of the tunnel.

Brother…maybe I’m stating the obvious but you could have literally just created that profile 10 minutes ago. Or simply edited your own momentarily so you could screen cap it.

It took me 4 years to crack the interview. Yes hiring but you have to be close to perfect

I know chicken personally. That counts for something.
I mean I had lunch with him once in a large group of people.
