How Sketchy has the city of New Orleans became since 2020?

Has anybody who's been in the city lately noticed more homeless/drug dealers hanging around everywhere? Feel free to share crazy stories from the crime spike.

It's terrible. Me and the wife walked from the Warehouse District to Mr. B's for lunch and crossing Canal was like Thunderdome during the middle of the day.

That's the charm of the city

Since 2020?
I was scared for my life some dark mornings and evenings walking from my office to the adjacent parking garage just a few years ago. Love the city, it is a cool place, but holy shtt it is sketchy.
Good luck I BJJ.

Because of the low IQ tPOS element that roams freely throughout the city, robbing and murdering people for the thrill of it.

I can’t think of a city I’ve visited recently that does not have this. I was in New Orleans a few weeks ago for Easter, I live in Baton Rouge, and last week I was in Miami/Fort Lauderdale. Sketchy types are everywhere.

I recently was visiting and saw a giant gang of ATV riders cruising through the Quarter. It was probably 50 people on ATVs running stops signs and popping wheelies.

So a pandemic that caused massive unemployment and depression has resulted in more homelessness and crime?
No kidding.
I think you can say that for every city in the country though. But hey, it's cool to pick on only one...

Less sketchy than 1990.

News thought he was white because he had a small section of wrist showing between glove and sleeve of hoodie. Turned out he was light skinned

didn't recognize that, so I did a google image search to see what the story was
the results came back for hair loss
