Was 03 I think, wanted to sell my sec champ student tickets, had like 5 emails in 10 minutes, probably banned in 15.

A kid at work told me about the site and showed it to me in 04, joined to get laughs at the fools on the Rant. Was 44 at the time.....and the rant is still full of idiots (Rantards)

They banned me from posting there several years ago because I called out one guy who blamed the loss that night to Alabama on refs, the SEC office, and everyone other than the team with 31 rushing yards all night. Didn't curse or personally attack him but he had me banned to this day on there.

Found the rant in the spring of 2004 after the title game. I was 30 and now 48.
My best post with the most responses was in 09 when LSU won the baseball title. I made a post called dogpile.
I get my news from this site for all things LSU and all things political.

I created an account in 2010. I was 43. I think I had been lurking for a few months on the Rant before that. I never posted anything there.
It wasn’t until I was bored one day and wandered over to the OT and read a discussion on depression and mental illness that I decided to comment. I was surprised at how a community that regularly destroys everyone and everything that is talked about with a merciless savagery could stop for a minute and actually try to help someone who was struggling.
I’ve tried to explain the dynamics of this place to normies. They either get it (rarely), or they think this place is a cesspool. (Not altogether wrong).
It wasn’t until I was bored one day and wandered over to the OT and read a discussion on depression and mental illness that I decided to comment. Started posting my senior year of high school. I’m graduating college in two months, my dad was the one who got me into the site. I always talked his ear off about recruiting and he said “I know something that would be good for you” and showed me TD. Glad he did, I get all my news from here now
