I've been using the same check pack/stack since 2002. Still have 3 other packs in the box that have never been touched. It'll probably last the rest of my life....at this rate.

Once a month I write a check, take a photo of it, send it to bank to transfer money.
Thanks, Dad! Keep 'em coming!

I recently sold a washing machine that was left by the previous owner of our house to a guy in the office and the dude wrote me a check. Couldn’t believe it.

The only thing we consistently use checks for are the water bill and paying my in-laws each month to watch our kids. My wife ordered some checks when we purchased our first home back in 2014. We’ve since moved two times and still using those same checks!

I write them to the vet. My check register is always to the vet.

Pull out your check book next time you're forced to use self checkout.

Only for my sons school.
His school is probably the only one in all of America that doesn’t have any sort of online payment system….

Can’t remember the last time I did.
It must have been to some home remodeling company. So 10 years ago is my guess.
Seems like most of those small business owners are adapting and using an e-check host site with lower fees than credit cards.
I still have no idea why people still need to go into brick and mortar banks. The last time I did was about 18 years ago when I bought a new house.
Last time I used an ATM was about 15 years ago when I unknowingly went to a cash only restaurant. They said they didn’t want to pass credit card fees on to their customers. I asked them how much they made from the ATM fees from their customers who have to use their ATM inside the restaurant. They avoided the question by claiming it was a “private vendor”.
I felt obligated to tell the owner that I would use the bank ATM a block away because I would not support his effort to make more money off his customers using ATMs, nor would I help subsidize his tax avoidance scheme. The guy’s restaurant closed a year later. My prayers were answered.

We write 4 checks a month... 1 every Sunday. Last box of checks has lasted over 4 years.
THIS....along with an occasional one when HVAC/Plumber does work at our house.

I have the bank cut a Cashier’s check for taxes, etc.
I have gotten a USPS money order for a couple of things over the past decade.
I have a checkbook but I haven’t written a check in at least 10 years.

4-5 times a year. Sometimes I have to write one to "cash" if my yard guy shows up on an off day.

I write checks often. I am having a generator installed next week requiring 50% down. Those kinds of businesses don’t take credit cards for big purchases.
I write checks for donations, school activities, kids camps, graduation gifts, etc.
My favorite are the big arse checks that are like 10 inches long and 4 inches in width. More room to write those high dollar amounts. When someone gives you that for services you perform, you know that they aren’t messing around.
