there is no corporate exec that has more aggregate corporate responsibility than an airline captain when he stands up the throttles for takeoff but I don’t beat my chest over it, you wouldn’t even know I’m a pilot if you were sitting in a room with me, I damn sure don’t need bullshite, dime store rah rah speeches like that to motivate me to perform my duties at the highest levels

Oh you’re queer? Got it. No wonder her demeanor was too much for you.

Secondly, do you think her little meltdown will help the company? You think everyone on that call said “oh I should re-double my efforts for her!”

If they’re fragile like you, probably not. Their effeminate personalities probably pushed them into a hyper pout and they all decided to “quietly quit”. For those with the chest to handle her message, they probably sucked it up and put out more effort.
Safe to assume that wouldn’t be you.

I’d cold call and door-door pressure washing men’s scrotums before working for that person.

Not fragile, but her tone was unnecessary and counterproductive. That’s been the tenor of all my posts including the op.

If you take your internet tough guy routine down a notch it’ll be ok. I’m sure you’re the hardest sum-bitch in all of tigerdroppings. We’re all impressed.

Sounds like she’s lost control. If she said that anywhere I worked, people would to her face tell her to get fricked and they’re more important to the company than she is do she can frick off.

Little know fact, good CEOs know they’re there to lead people, not be the talent.

Call me a sexist or whatever, but I am not a fan of corporate women. Well, maybe its just corporate people in general. I hate all of their catch phrases and bullshite stories.

Sounds to me she was tired of the whining about no bonuses in a bad year and she was being straight forward about it. I suspect after that little speech anyone still whining should not be surprised to be laid off.

I suspect the office furniture business sucked during covid.

I don’t see any links that detail the status of her bonus.

A quick glance at documents in EDGAR show that at one time her cash compensation was $1 million in salary and a share of the bonus pool. That bonus pool was based on operating profit so it is likely she didn’t get a bonus either.

Either way it’s a leap to say her compensation was not impacted by the bad year.

I'm reading the 2022 proxy statement now.

On top of her 1.1 M base salary, she received a 1.3M cash bonus and received 3.55M in stock and options.

The rest of the executive team received 7 figures each in bonuses.

I’ve heard this fricking shite so many times. We’ve got to pinch pennies!

Execs hire pointless fricking consultants.
Staff loses key team members, take on more work.

Execs fly private, staff flies coach.
Execs stay at 4 seasons, staff at Days Inn.

Execs get catered lunch daily, staff get price hikes at snack machine.

Execs park new luxury cars in their reserved spots.
Staff walks past those spots from their remote parking deck.

Execs raise shite about staff not being in office 24-7 solving problems.
Execs miss key meetings without notice, not in office, cause missed milestones.

Execs stupidly print bonus information to shared printer, fail to pick it up.
Staff realizes their leaders are fricking them up the butt, and quit.
