Allowed under open burning regulations in Louisiana. Meets the religious ceremony exemption.

I can’t even begin to explain how filthy that river is. The water isn’t any water color I’ve ever seen And the smell
frick India and fetid, disgusting everything there.

It has the allure of a subcontinent that is a non-functioning sewer treatment plant.

George Harrison was a wacky musical genius.

Don't care. A "Viking Funeral" is the way to go after a raucous feast with plenty of mead and other booze...and bloody fights.

Do it first then ask for permission. Then it's to late for anyone to tell you no .

Floating Pyre funeral

I’ve told my wife for years this is what I want. I’ll leave the details to her.

there is a place in Colorado that does this.. Funeral home offers funeral pyre ceremonies up there as a package. True Story.

I want 2 guys dressed as plain clothed cops in the parking lot, writing down all the license plate numbers.

There's a theory on why the catfish in those rivers get so big...they eat creamated remains!

Zero...ask forgiveness, not permission.

There is a dude in my son’s unit who is a Viking (like descendent of Vikings, religious exemption to wear a Viking beard, worships their gods, all of it) his funeral instructions are just that.

If he is KIA, you bet your arse that’s what will happen.

One of the unit guys that died on 11/11 off of Cyprus had burial at sea as his wish. He put it on there when he first finished Green Platoon as an immature joke and never updated that part of his will. They followed his wish and had his wife and children on board the ship when it happened.

Don't ask dont tell
Have an acquaintance that did it, not full pyre but he was cremated, family put him on a foam board w offshore wind. Fire lit, buddy drifts offshore and off he goes. There was some debris left from board that didn't burn. Happened on great lakes.

where the brave may live forever.

There should be no red tape whatsoever.
