How much money would you have to be given to leave the US for good and never return? How much to leave your current state and never return?

I'd leave if I could be paid my current salary

Enough for immediate retirement and purchase of a private island.

Enough for my family to retire. Do I get to pick where or is it luck of the draw? I assume compensation will be in scale to the cost of living.

Just give a citizenship in certain countries and you wouldn't have to pay me a dime. Acceptable countries...
Most of Europe
Argentina
Canada
Costa Rica
Chile
Japan
South Korea

Never return as in move back or never be able to visit again?
As long as I could come back once or twice a year to visit, I'd move to Belize and could live nicely on my current salary.

320k a year to live in a third world shithole and I didn't make it 18 months
So a lot more than that.

This. The one huge downside for being an expat US citizen is you still get taxed by the US even though you don't live in the US, which is utter bullshite.
Double taxation isn't my idea of fun.

Never return for any reason whatsoever. You get the money and go wherever you want outside of US soil.
