with the fire at the Great Library in Alexandria?

think about Greek Fire, construction, mathematics, astronomy. I wonder how long it took just to get back to that level.

We will lose it all again after everything is converted to digital and all hard copies have disappeared.
One EMP strike and it's all lost......
