Jesus wtf what are some of ya'll eating, raviolis and frozen pizza? 200 a month in groceries?

I have a family of 5 but all three kids are 7 or under. I spend 250 a week. 150-175 is on myself alone.

We spend prolly 400+ a month eating out for dinner, lunch eating out is usually on the company.

Its nothing for me and my wife to drop 150 on a dinner out when you include wine. Serious question, some of yall that are saying 200/month in eating out, are ya'll eating at chillis or something?

and those that only eat out once or twice a month, wtf do ya'll do on friday and saturday night not during football season?

I guess my mind is blown by how much out of line my food spending is then most of the post in this thread. I get I eat a lot more protein than most and hardly do anything but fresh food, but I am way way out of line comparatively.

Sundays are the best days to cook at home.

Not that we go out every Friday and Saturday night, but that’s usually when staying home would make me a little stir crazy.

Food is one of our biggest expenses. $200-$300 a week at grocery depending on what kids are home then probably another $300 a month on eating out. It's too damn much that's all I know.

I spent $530/month last year eating out and $125/month at supermarkets. That is mostly craft beer. My wife does most of the grocery shopping.

Probably need to cook more at home and eat out less.

Less than 100$. I am feeding 5 people, so eating out is not an option.

Wait what? Less than 100$ a month? For 5 people? Are you talking about per day?

It’s been a while since I’ve had to budget down to that granular of a level, it was probably 700 back then. Probably 1200 now.

Family of three.
