I'm single and don't like to cook much. Probably 200 a week or so but that's because I avoid fast food and just cook 3-4 times a week and eat at decent restaurants the rest of the time

You go to nice restaurants and eat by yourself? Is that lonely?

We're probably in the 800-1000 range monthly. We almost never eat out. However, I do not keep a close track of what we spend on food because I love to cook and I refuse to eat crappy meals trying to pinch pennies.

I have been refining my wine palate, unfortunately, which has definitely increased the monthly budget.

we (family of 4) are on pace this month to spend close to 1k for groceries and eating out. Our budget is 675 for both and we were able to stay within that last month. But for some reason we are doing badly this month. Its pretty hard to keep on budget with all the options to spend it on thses days - and graceries have really gotten expensive, plus I have a teenage boy and a pre-teen boy who love to eat.

Nah. We have chickens and cows and pigs. We butcher. We get eggs from our chickens also. And we grow a fairly large garden.

Less than 100$. I am feeding 5 people, so eating out is not an option.

Baw. Checkout Wal-Mart's pickup service. You order online, and they do the shopping for you. You schedule a time for pickup and they load. Easy. You cut down on impulse buys, and tracking your spending is easy because they keep your profile. I highly recommend for a family on a budget.

No I kind of prefer it tbh. Kind of like taking a shite it becomes "me" time to sit and enjoy a meal and just think or post on here.

I also know everyone around here so I always see people I know and all decent restaurants have a bar with tv so I sit there and watch sports. Doesn't bother me at all

I find it enjoyable. Mostly just sit at the bar, eat, drink, make friends, etc.

In the last week alone I’ve spent $500 on beer for the house.

Honestly I don’t want to think about how much I spend eating out and drinking a month. It would be upsetting.

I get reminders from my chase bank app that I spend more dining out than on groceries each month all the time.

I try to spend less than 15 a day. Mostly can be below 10. But throw in a nice steak dinner a time or two and it’s probably 500 a month when all is said and done.
Single and I don’t really cook.

Too much. But it's nice to not have to load the dishwasher when you're done.
