Take a more affordable beach trip to less touristy areas (Navarre, etc) and go late April/early May OR September.

Well I just drove 5 hours each way from Houston with a 48 and 20 year old and a yappy lap dog this weekend and I was stopping every 2 hours just to get some fresh air......
So it doesnt get any better

I wish I had added a question about income as well.
My wife and I make $140k/year combined. A $10k trip would destroy us.
Daughter is still in preschool though.

frick em, I make enough where I don’t have to cook every night and stay in shitty condos or any other cheapo stuff
I love orange beach and we spend money when we go, we go to dinner pretty much every night, we ride go karts, we parasail, many times we go off shore fishing and we shop a lot. If that pisses off the OT so be it.

I don’t know if I’d spend money to go offshore fishing in orange beach. Unless it’s an overnighter that took me back to Louisiana
