4 of us split a 2 bedroom at the old Stanford Arms. I think it was $300 total split 4 ways.

2001 I think I was paying $425 for one bedroom in a 2 BR apt. It was some company that built college apartments and rented them by the bedroom. My wife was in a 4 BR unit but only 3 of them were rented, so the other stayed locked up by management. The next year we moved in together in a 2 BR duplex for $650. In 2004 after we got married and graduated we paid $850 for a 2 BR in Birmingham that was about twice the size of the duplex.

2 bedroom in Ruston in late 90's for $400/month. Then found a house for four of us to live in for $500/month.

Four bedroom at University House Brightside in 02. Actually paid tree fiddy. Left BR after living in a 2/1 house in Southdowns that was $1250/mo maybe in 2013
