$250/month with a roommate for a 2 BR apartment across the WCA in LSU. Damn, I was lucky.

Not much, and I moved out quickly because apartments suck. They're trashy IMO

Eta...Consider this test successful. All you have to do is call something trashy and it will automatically bring down votes. lol

Lived in a nice 1 bedroom 'luxury' apartment in Shreveport right out of college. Was $425/month. I thought I was a baller. 2001.

1BR 1BA $1400
2BR 2BA $1500
2BR 2BA $1800

^ All in Oceanside CA Apartments/Condos I rented while stationed there. Then after that I rented houses much cheaper lol.

Rented my first house on Chimes street for $600 in 1997. Not the trendy Chimes part, the ghettoer one off of aster close to the levee. It was a shitty 3 bed room that hadn't been lived in for years.

My first apartment was 2009, lived in the barracks many years before I got married. Shitty thing about the military is when they give you a raise in housing allowance, apartment complexes raise their rent to match it.

I don't recall what my first place was but at one point we had a 4 bedroom house off of Highland for $400 month.
This was mid to late 80s
