A ton. My parents travel a lot. 2 a year would be conservative. I love traveling and Covid has cut that shite more than in half for me. It sucks.

Went to Pensacola twice. Houston/College Station, TX (evacuated there during Katrina) kinda seemed like a vacation for 12 year old me. We were pretty poor growing up.

Nearly every summer from age 4 onward. The beach or six flags at first. Later we went out west and hit the national parks. Our longest vacation was a three week excursion that made it up to Calgary. About a 4400 mile round trip.

Minimum 1 week ? Probably zero.

Only went on one ‘destination’ vacation i can remember , which was WDW when i was like 7 , but for just a few days.. … but lots of long weekends to Pensacola , Destin and Biloxi (i know).. and a couple trips to Astroworld in Houston, each less than a week.. also one 2 or 3 week vacation to New England, but i was only 2 yrs old (though i do remember parts of it)…. And lots of trips to visit my mom’s family in West Virginia, which doesn’t seem like much of a ‘vacation’ but i loved it as a kid since we got to see snow and hills.. so i dont really feel like i was deprived as a kid even though had very few traditional vacations .

If Senior Trip counts, 4.

The other three were family trips to the mountains.

You're not going to get a lot of work done being out a week, baw.

Zero. I probably didn't take a real vacation until I was about 36ish.

As long as I can remember we would take a week long vacation to Northern Wisconsin before school started. The only times we didn't do this is when we went to Disney one year and then a trip along the Mississippi River to watch a bunch of minor league games.

18. We went to St. Pete-Tampa almost every single summer for 1-2 weeks. But never went anywhere else during the year (which I hated). We also always went with extended family so after awhile it became a shitshow.

I upset the family this year when I told them we’re not going with them to Florida for a couple of years so we can save up for a trip overseas and do some other shorter trips throughout the year.

Like week long vacations, maybe two or three. Lots of weekend trips and such.

Most people I grew up around were middle class and didn't take vacations every year. Or maybe a long weekend trip to Grand Isle or Astroworld was their summer vacation.

We drove everywhere when we went on vacation. Even if it was 1k miles one way.

10-12 maybe (not counting 3 day weekends in Jacksonville or Savannah). A few trips to PCB for spring break, a few trips to Daytona Beach, a few trips to Vegas.

Not a single one that didn’t involve going to my uncle’s house for the annual family reunion.

Not long weekends but a week minimum.

Does being sent away count, or did you have to be with immediate family?

Same here. One of the few long vacations we took I wanted to stay home. It missed three baseball games, which for a 10 year old is an eternity.
