I have a friend that I see occasionally. He is elderly and doesn't get out that much anymore. He went to Michigan State and knew Bubba Smith. They were friends but lost touch after MSU. Somehow or other they crossed paths again around 1973. Bubba had just been traded to the Raiders and was going west.

My buddy was just out of the Army and went to hang out in California. He was goofing off, going up and down the coast partying, and working just enough to pay his bills. He met a really hot Mexican girl named Olivia that was here legally and he started dating her.

They spent their time banging and working, never getting rich, but living comfortably. For him, it was all about the 70's in CA, having a few drugs, and trying to wear out a hot Mexican girl.

After almost a year she told him she was leaving him because she had met someone else. He was kind of bummed but realized he had been tearing it up for a long time and a change may do him good. He later heard from friends that she was dating George Harrison.

She married GH in 1978. My buddy had long moved on.

TLDR: I have a buddy that absolutely trashed the poon of a mega rock star's wife before the rock star met her.

i had a snarkly giggle and went to upvote but accidentally hit the ad on the right side of my screen.

I met Gene Hackman in 1988, wandering around at a Waldenbooks store in Northpark mall, Ridgeland, MS. Nice dude.

I briefly worked at a Hertz Rental Car about 20 years ago, and checked in Mike Mills of R.E.M. once. Also met Snoop Dog's grandmother working there.

I met George Foreman at a book signing in Jackson. I got him to sign a BK Whopper wrapper along with my book. Dude was huge.

I met Will Clark when I was a kid at a game in the mid 80's.

Met Phil Anselmo before a show once. He was walking into the venue with his security detail. This was back before he completely fried his brain.

ETA - Me and a buddy drove up to the back of David Lee Roth's bus after a show at a water park..lol. This was early 90s. We were drunk. There was no security around and we were looking to see if he had any chicks that would let us party them. He came up to the door looking at us and slammed it shut It was quite funny.
