Between the office parties, Thanksgiving/Christmas feasts, holiday treats, and freaking king cake, I put on a consistent 10-15 pounds every year. By the time I burn the fat off, November is back again.

I try not to look at the scale this time of year and am happy as long as my clothes still fit. Weight will work itself out in January when I get back to a more strict diet.

I normally lose weight since I'm in the woods eating vienna sausage and lunchables every day.

Maybe 1 or 2 if the weather gets bad enough that I can't get out and run.

Since I lost around 30lbs during my hospital stay a few months ago, I've gained back nearly 20lbs. I still have a good 8 - 9lbs to gain back so bring on the turkey and gravy...

Minus 20, doctor says I'm too fat already and borderline diabetic. Scared the shite out of me, not how I want to live or die. I've already lost 10. I think I've been scared skinny

Usually none. It’s just a couple of days of big meals surrounded by normal days.

I actually started running again the other day. Can't really golf anymore when I get off work since its dark but I can run the neighborhood. Hopefully I wont gain any until January and then I'll lose some after that.

Believe it or not, 10-15lb gain between Halloween and New Years is average for most Americans. Has been this way for a long, long time.

I’m down 20 lbs and plan to lose another 5 or so, so I won’t be undoing all that by gorging myself during the holidays.

This reminded me of hearing about when Skillet used to frequent Rest Areas...
