I'm surprised at all the negativity towards class rings. Do high schools not have ring day celebrations any more? If so, parents must be saving a shite ton of money. In retrospect, I wish I hadn't gotten a high school ring but back then it was a nearly required part of the high school experience. Nearly everyone I know had theirs lost, stolen or stuffed in a dresser drawer 5 years after graduating.
I chose not to get one from LSU mostly because I'd be paying for it myself.

I wear a cross necklace and a wristband that says “remember your why” because I need to be reminded of that during the day at my job because I’m really unhappy.

I wear a gold wedding ring, gold saint Jude pendant on a gold chain, and a Locman watch with a leather band. Been trying to talk the wife into letting me get a simple gold bracelet for the right wrist. IMO there’s a difference between janky jewelry and classy.

Hmmm... No mentions of earrings in this thread.

I'm too old school to wear a gold chain, let alone an earring, but I can't believe how many people do. The earring / ear stud, in particular, still strikes me as slightly homo but it's so common (especially in the AA community) it's no longer viewed that way.

That said, when I see some old white dude with an earring I laugh. Embrace your age and don't look the fool gramps.

Wearing class rings is pretty lame. Put that on a bookshelf in your home office so the only people who care can see it when they want to.

I have a gold chain (not a gaudy huge one) with a crucifix but other than that I have my wedding band and I’m a big watch and cowboy boot guy as far as clothing goes.
