45 y.o. black guy. Overweight, not obese.
63 y o. White guy. Overweight not obese.
Both sick. But, doing well at home. No drugs needed. Just chilling on couch watching Netflix.

MIL tested positive. No ill effects other than a slight fever. She's 97 and believes it's going to take more than that to put her in the ground.

There’s obviously people in here that know people that have died of COVID. I personally do as well.
I’ve never known anyone that died of the flu. It’s all anecdotal anyway. It’s just funny how the talking points shift.
I’ve heard them all from the beginning...
Chinese have more ACE2 receptors
It’s only in China
Chinese smoke more
China has more pollution
Italy is old
The latest talking points seem to be:
The numbers are cooked, people are dying with COVID not from it
I don’t know anyone that has this, it’s all a hoax

Ah, I see.
Personally, I do not anyone who has died from it. I can't think of anyone that know personally who has died from the flu either.

3, One had zero symptoms at all. Only reason he was tested was because his wife works in a pharmacy and they tested everyone that worked there. When she tested positive, he got tested and was positive also. Neither of them had any symptoms.
The second one is a guy I work with he had a headache and was running a fever off and on. Missed a week of work because won't let us work with a fever. He finally qualified to be test when they lowered the threshold to be tested. He tested positive.
The third one is a girl I know Baton Rouge, she has had a rough time with it but not to the point to be hospitalized. She is nearly recovered now.
Also the guy from work is a little overweight but nothing crazy, no other health issues. The other 2 people are in good health and in good shape.

5 between New Orleans and palm beach county. All did well including my moms good friend who has very high blood pressure and stroke history at 75. Old folks have definitely passed at the hospital I work at, as well as a guy from Latin America in his 40s with a HOST of past medical history including very uncontrolled diabetes.
We’ve discharged quite a bit of people who got through it well including many in their 70s and 80s.

Not 1. Heard that a friend had her paternal grandparents die from it, one on Easter Sunday, the other last night.

4 that tested positive, 2 of which passed away.
3 others had symptoms but didn’t test. 2 other friends have had parents in the ICU and are positive-both were on vents.

1. 35 year old female non-smoker who is healthy. Got it in Washington while covering the big nursing home infection in early March. Had a fairly light case from what she said on the news. You probably know who I am taking about
2 and 3. Early 30s white male and his wife. Both healthy. Male is a former 5-10 cigarette/day smoker. Female is a lifelong non-smoker. His case was very light, hers was more serious but she was fine after 3 days other than losing her sense of taste and smell.
4. Healthy early 30s male in New Jersey. Non-smoker has physically active. Was sick for 2-3 days. Mostly got tested because he was in hotspots.
5. Doctor in early 30s in North Carolina, white male. Very healthy and active non-smoker who is not dramatic at all about getting sick, which is why I’m concerned. Was sick for more than 2 weeks. Said Chris Cuomo’s symptoms were very much like his. Couldn’t sleep more than an hour at a time for 2-3 days due to shivering. Felt okay for a few days and then it got even worse. Still not back to 100 percent after 18 days. Said he thought about going to the hospital for oxygen but got better before then, relatively speaking.
6. His wife was only sick for 2-3 days. Also a doctor in NC. White female who is 33.
7. White male in his early 50s outside of Philly. I know him through my job and we talk weekly but I don’t know about his health. Seems pretty normal to me. Was sick for a few days but nothing crazy.
8. I don’t know his wife at all but he mentioned she was also sick, was out for 2-3 days and then back to normal.
