There’s been like 33 documented cases of covid reinfection worldwide. 40 million total cases. Statistically its insignificant and not something we should even be remotely concerned about.
Totally agree we shouldn't be concerned about it. I very well may have not had it the first time... but no doctors could tell me what it was and I've never been sick that long in my life. I still think the fact they wouldn't test me is ridiculous.

How about, I only know one person who has had it once

She did. I guess my phrasing was a little off. She got tested BOTH times. The ONLY reason she got tested a 2nd time was because we didn't believe her. She knew she had the same symptoms.

Zero. The woman you’re talking to is dumb and an attention seeker

I caught it back in July and the doctor told me it's highly unlikely to catch the same strain twice. However, what they've seen from some of the autopsies done on those that have died from it are these polyps that have built up on different organs. Which would suggest that, similar to Tuberculosis, it can go and hide in one of your organs for a little while, your symptoms go away, then it flares up again later on. Which would make your symptoms come back or could possibly kill you. (Highly unlikely)

I’ve personally seen and treated people who I believe to have been infected twice. Now this is unconfirmed because we didn’t subtype their COVID strains. But they got sick, tested positive, got better and tested negative and then months later got sick and tested positive again. This while living and working in a very high transmission zone.
So I am a believer that it can happen.

we are entering another Flu season. No Flu cases being reported; but people are getting Covid all over again
This is false. Flu cases are still being reported. You just aren't looking past the fake news that you are being fed.
Weekly U.S. Influenza Surveillance Report
That was easy.

There have been five confirmed cases of reinfection out of 40 million. I doubt she knows two of them.

Friend of mine has it righgt now for the second time. First time was in May and he was very sick from it. 4 week recovery. He is late 50's.
Last week he tested positive again as did a few people he works with. He is still out of work and has symptoms but it is not as severe as the first time

that's why I said I think my friend had it twice. btw he under 25 yrs old and he just was sick for two days and then over it. he lost sense of taste both times so that why he thinks covid double time but no way to confirm
