I have 3 pair, although 1 has some small paint splatter on them. Even so, I's too old to give a frick, so I wear them to Wal Mart, Home Depot, or grocery store without any hesitation. Too old means Boomer.

For me, it’s easy, I’m 75 and not as trim as I used to be. So comfort and feeling good translates to confidence and being.
If I’m stuffed into something for appearance sake, I’m uncomfortable and feel awkward. This makes me feel unattractive and withdrawn. My mood changes when I’m uncomfortable.
It’s not about being a slob or non-chic. Do you really think the majority of people care how you dress, as long as you are neat and friendly?

I bet they had this same argument about the one-piece jumpsuits our dads wore back in the 70s and 80s.
I kinda wish they’d come back into vogue. They surely looked comfortable.
