Starting JA and designed play and subbing with Duece is logical. JA needs to experience the "new" play-caller in CKA. Appeared more 'in' routes: and not RPO on a slow roll.
Get ahead and get Duece in there for game experience. No matter what, a new head coach will decide 2026 starter. If it is Durkin, he may want a known back there. Not the best, but a known.
Have no problem with this call.

Name Daniels as starter. He needs the in-game reps. Play a half and the first drive. Then bring in the leftie.
Then you wait for the next coach. He keeps Arnold and Deuce if he wants. Either one or both have to love AU (and it's money) or leave.
If Arnold pulls hamstring during his sleep and backs out of being the starter, then start Arnold. Arnold's actions during Mercer would tell a lot if our performance has been ex-CHF or Arnold.
If Daniels pulls himself out of playing, he is saying he is transferring.
