The only kinda woke people I see are people trying to get preferential treatment. No one is actually woke.
That is one of the definitions of woke folks.

I think I would excel at being a Woke troll. That could be fun- basically a license to use your comedy acting skills, be completely insufferable, and get rewarded for it. I’d wear a soy milk camelback and demand to be called Penelope but pronounced Penny lope because I identify as an inner city black womyn.

My 1st career in banking and finance was dominated by conservative thinkers. The higher up the chain the more conservative they got. In all fairness though that was in Oklahoma, it doesn’t get much more conservative than there.
My 2nd career in hospital based healthcare (as opposed to clinic, assisted living, hospice, etc.) was a highly mixed bag across the socio/political spectrum across NWLA and central and east Texas. So mixed I can’t even estimate conservative vs liberal because the individual may be very mixed (not just social liberal and fiscal conservative but with numerous caveats to both social and fiscal stances).
Even with MY particular issues that have disabled me I sure do NOT miss 99% of my former coworkers. They were decent enough persons just not really who I would select to spend time with daily if given the choice. Can’t really complain it could have been much worse (*nods to this thread)

Before I retired, it was easier counting the ones who were not. Out of several hundred, I was pretty sure of 4 of us.
Some disguised their wokeness well but you could tel by their interests.

About 3 out of 150.
One was always liberal with a liberal wife and daughters.
One was a libertarian and loved Ron Paul, but has since gotten remarried to a liberal and now has TDS.
One is very wealthy, born hitting a grand slam, and eat up with TDS. Father is a big Republican donor in the state. He is the most shocking. Hardcore pro-covid vax, anti-trump, pro censorship, assumed anyone that doesn't agree with him follows stupid conspiracy theories and is an idiot. Clearly has daddy issues because no one will ever respect him like his father so I guess this is just lashing out by being the opposite of him.

None. I work in construction with my HANDS. Kneel for the cross and stand for the flag is what we do. Take the dirt road to work and out of work with a tall boy in hand.

About 350 out of 1000.
People who claim to be moderate but use pronouns.
Company has affinity clubs for those with mental disorders while the rest of us do the real work that keeps the company afloat.

I haven't worked since 2010. Before I left, my print advertising company had gone thru "Communications" training where, on day one, we were told sarcasm was bullying.
This week long communications training was something all of our Dallas and Houston based mangers had gone thru in Atlanta, and came back raving about it. Them sucking up to the owner like they were about the training, and fact that the owner had paid for those trips let us all know it was important to her. We did our training in a Dallas hotel conference center. The company had evolved into a place where appearances were as important as reality, if not more import. IMHO that kind of thinking is what got us where we are now.
Our HR department had already instituted policies about things we shouldn't discuss in the office. In an office where in the past we talked about anything and everything thru the years, we had to start thinking about not offending someone.
They had hired a transsexual around 2008 or 2009. Having that in the office caused everyone to have to curtail joking about what would now be called LGBTQ? topics. When a sales rep on our team left, the tranny put in a request to transfer to our team. When my boss asked me about the possibility of her sitting right behind me, I told him I was afraid I might say something that had nothing to do with her, that might offend her, and I'd lose my job. Everyone else was worried about the same thing.
ETA:
We had lots of gay guys and girls working in the office since I started there in 1984. Just like with Black, Hispanic, foreign coworkers, really anyone who maybe seemed a little different, we all joked around with each other. Being from Louisiana was like being a foreigner in that office when I started working there. Some of the guys in the office called me Roscoe, like the guy from the Duke of Hazard.
I think the appearances being more important than reality all started with a HR person they hired. Before anyone in the company had gone to the Communications training, we had gone thru a bunch of HR training that dealt with things like quid pro quo harassment. At the time, I kind of thought it was more for managers than us sales reps, but in the training they had made up scenarios where it could come into play with us. That was when I fist thought it felt like they were more worried about how things looked than how they really were.

How many worship Donald Trump?

Most of my coworkers are in the bay area so most of them.

Probably a few but I don’t talk with coworkers about politics and neither them with me. It’s nice.

A lot. My corporate office is based in Minneapolis.
Does having an internship that only black people can apply for count?
