Sounds very effeminate. A giant pot of etouffee, is that considered "meal prep"?

I'd rather go to the beach. You can do sit-ups and push-ups while watching the new season of Better Call Saul. Doesn't take a membership and you don't have to leave home.

I fast 20 hours a day Monday - Friday.
there would be a 6 hour window everyday that I'd be a miserable person to be around

Also having to shoe in my nightly 6 pack into that 4 hour window would take the joy out of it

You have no excuse to not be in shape if you’re only working 7-4

Rog says that's what's wrong with you Zoomers, a real red-blooded 'Mercian Boomer would have already been in the office for 2 hours before you make it in the building with your soy latte

did i say i wasnt in shape?

but do you have kids? you realize you picked a little part of the overall schedule i laid out right?

i agree everyone should be in shape, just saying its not as easy for parents with multiple kids

i happen to workout 8-10 4 to 5 nights a week. why do i do it so late?

because i have 3 boys all in different sports so the above schedule is my life 4 to 5 days a week and the weekend is usually some type of game or meet. so its not as easy as saying "you only work 7-4, you should be in great shape"

I just get a different fast food place every night. Have all the apps. No prep needed.

And if you do it right, you will pay less than going to the grocery store and wasting your time cooking.

Your health may be a different story depending on your beverage and choice of fast food.

Just a general statement. If you only work 40 hours a week and claim to not have time to eat well and work out, you're full of shite.

I eat food the next day or two after cooking max

The wife (no pics) and I quit watching tv a while back. We enjoy cooking... and our kids are grown and out of the house.

We still usually cook like we still had them here (cook for 4 instead of 2) and we take the leftovers for our lunches the next day.

I have zero desire to cook a weeks worth of food in one day. We sometimes dont know what we are going to cook until we go to the store and see what looks good in the meat department.
