Oy did it for beer until I could afford to keep a stocked wine cooler.

My full-time job allows me 8-4 M-F, so I work at a liquor warehouse 5-10 a few nights a week.
It's a pretty chill job tbh.

I know a guy who danced for nickels at Murphy’s in the 1980s.

On the weekends, I slappa da bass for money.
Love it because it’s fun and lets me buy new gear and not feel guilty. Love getting new gear.

You should stop by the O4W Distillery. My client owns the building and happens to be a really old model train club. 2fer!

Is that stuff really worth the money you make?

I don't drink enough beer to spend what I make on the side doing handyman-type stuff. Lately it seems everyone is wanting TV's hung up but without wires showing. Good $250 - $350 for around 2 - 3 hours of work.

Tourney bass fish. Haven't won anything yet tho. Entered this new gig where there are several tagged fish. If you catch one it's a 1000 bucks. They also have a truck and a boat tagged bass.

no. i do well enough not to worry about that, but i did read that Amazon was offering $20k/month to deliver packages on/off during December and seriously considered looking into it since i had 20+ days of leftover vacation for December. Would’ve been some fun money to spend on home renovation, crypto, and man toys.

I would probably do Uber if I ever got divorced. Just to keep from being tempted to drink all night.
Do you side gig baws have a wife and kids?

i know we bust each other’s chops here, but what part of the country do you bass fish? i do some amateur bass fishing myself. Pretty inconsistent in the last 2 years tho.
I’d love to get into the kayak bass fishing scene.

Typically North East Mississippi. Specifically Pickwick lake, and Bay springs lake. Fished the Tennessee river below the dam a couple times last year, tol. I'm buying an Alabama license this year and gonna explore that side of Pickwick. I hope to fish Smith lake again. My sister and her husband are looking to buy a lake house there
I made a couple of new friends last year both from Arkansas that are die hard trout/fly fishing people... I've never trout fished so I may try that.
I do a little crappie fishing with my dad at Sardis lake or Grenada lake.
Probably won't get the chance to fish like I did the last couple of years. I had 4 weeks vacation 2 years ago, then got let go from my job so had a bunch of free time, start new job on Monday and only 2 weeks vacation.
I actually worked on my boat today. Removed old carpet and will put down some off brand Seadek material later in the week.

bass cash bash
Here is that thing for the 1000 bucks if you catch a tagged bass. They are doing it in several locations. Sam Rayburn, Louisiana Delta, lake fork I think.

I fish in some amateur weekend tourneys with a buddy down here who has a legit bass boat his grandfather bought him. We do best on our local lake, lake conroe. And have fished some of the lakes in North Texas. I’ve personally fished some of the lake in North Louisiana but never catch shite, so end up filling the live well with crappie to eat.
I’ve got 2 young kids. So i’m with you. My days of serious bass fishing on the weekends is probably done with for a decade at least
It’s definitely what i’d prefer doing on beautiful weekends in the Spring/Fall above all else in the world.

Prespawn gonna get cranking in March. Best time of year and your best opportunity to catch a wall hanger. All you need is a jerkbait and know how to jerk it.

I'm a plant baw. If I get the urge to blow money on something I just put in for OT to make the extra cash.
