Ochsner has 100 COVID-19 patients on vents right now and 250 COVID-19 inpatients. If people don’t take those numbers seriously I don’t know what it will take.

It doesn't matter. Some are determined to prove this the flu is worse than this, even though that has been disproven multiple times now.
Truth be told, this shite is no joke. It is very infectious, and not only that, it has killed a shitload of people.
It was the right move to shutdown large gatherings such as sport leagues and concerts. It was also the right move to shutdown schools, and to have as much people as possible to work from home. Italy's healthcare system is in shambles. Although the US is struggling with it still, thankfully we are handling this a WHOLE lot better than Italy.
But at the same time, we cannot destroy the entire economy for the sake of trying to combat this thing. As Trump said, the cure cannot be worse than the problem. By the end of April, businesses need to open back up. Encourage individuals to social distance as much as possible. Schools can remain closed until end of may.
