74. My FIL is about to help me build a pond. He built one on his property before I knew him and he has convinced me to do it. I think he is just getting sick of me at his all the time.

I have no idea.

But I have a house in the DFW area, good old cookie cutter neighborhood in McKinney Texas, so whatever the acreage number is...it's a small number.

149 where I live. 8 is the main house and barn. The other 141 we use for timber, hay, and hunting.

1/2 ownership due to inheritance of another 40 acres also used for hunting.

Currently 1.27 in one city, and 1.75 in another. Building a house on the 1.75, so the 1.27 will be someone else's next year.

1/3 of 340 acres
1/2 of 4 acres

Hate the 1/3 … not the land itself, but my five co-owners are the dumbest motherfrickers on planet earth. I spend 95% of my energy keeping them from making stupid decisions - we’ve lost out on a couple of good deals because of their stupidity.

.50 acre house sits on.
1/5 interest in another 2 acres in town, one of the these acres has a 1800sq. ft house.
1/5 interest in 20 acres west of town.
1 1/4 acre of lake front property.

Bonus: oil royalties in East Texas. Divided about 1000 times.

100 that I live on and raise quarter horses on.

Another 10 acres about 45 min away with a cabin on it that is my close hunting place.

And 12 more acres with cabin further away on a lake where I crappie fish and do most of my hunting.

So 122 overall

Buying my land was the best thing I ever did for our family. It should appreciate in value, there is value potential in the planted pines not to mention the enjoyment and memories it is creating. Very satisfying to be out in the sticks at night by a fire sipping some whiskey.
