The best way I could have bought land was to by the 1/4 acre next door, which was the last open lot in the subdivision and one of the top 5 lots in the subdivision for those of us who don't want to live on the pond. But I dilly-dallied and it was bought from under me.

10.5 acres in Hawthorne which also has a old slave quarters still standing in pretty amazing condition for its age. I've been working on it occasionally. Going to have the county come and try to get Grants to restore it eventually. Would be a fun project.

An undivided third of what is now three hundred acres in South Central Kansas. It used to be considerably more acreage, but we've sold off some parcels. I also on the 1/3 Acres lot where my house is. When I say own, I mean outright, no mortgage
